Superhero Card

I made this card for a monthly swap I am involved in and we had to use the Superhero paper pack.  This paper pack is great for little boys but I wanted to challenge myself and use it in a different way.  I decided on a vintage patriotic theme.  I sanded my papers and inked them with bamboo ink to give it an old worn look.

That is the beauty of scrapbooking and cardmaking, you do not have to follow any rules.  You can change the papers to suit any occasion or even your taste.  I challenge you to look at your paper and stamps and use them in a different way, the options are endless!

Studio J Layout

Recently we a corporate event in Omaha, and we were given the opportunity to make 5 Studio J layouts for free.  This was the first time I had finished and ordered Studio J layouts.  I had taken these pictures a few years ago while we were visiting my parents and had never gotten them scrapbooked, I love how it turned out.  The layouts have lots of detail added to them  and I learned lots of new techniques and the quailty is amazing.  You can give Studio J a try by going to my website, www.rebeccamaboussou.ctmh.com and opening an account.  There is no obligation to buy so please don't hesitate and try it.
